Joao Ricciarelli is President of Canadian Bearings Ltd. With over 20 years of experience working as a General Manager in different segments from High Voltage Product Sales and Logistics, to Industrial Products and Services. Joao has excelled in successfully managing businesses in more than 40 countries. He is an accomplished leader with over 14 years of international business experience living in different countries such as the USA, UK and Canada, overlooking start ups and acquisitions of various companies. Joao is proud to have recently joined Canadian Bearings, a leading distributor of bearings, power transmission, motion control, belting and conveyor components, as it celebrates 75 years of outstanding presence in the North American market.

Brent Pope serves as Senior Vice President - Canada & Sales Excellence for Motion Industries. Mr. Pope has been with Motion for 42 years, having started as a Warehouse Representative. With hard work and dedication, he was promoted to the position he holds today. Mr. Pope attended Athabasca University from 2005-2007, earning his Masters in Business Administration. He believes in empowering people by providing clear expectations of what is required to succeed at each position in the company and then providing the resources and support to accomplish it.

Phil Schmidts has been with NTN Canada for 24 years and is currently Director of Sales, IOE. Phil has held various positions within the company and has led the development of strategic partnerships in the automotive aftermarket, industrial OEM and industrial aftermarket divisions. Prior to joining NTN, Phil worked in the automotive aftermarket with Federal-Mogul Corporation and attended the University of Alberta and the University of British Columbia.

Well-known in the industrial aftermarket, Mr. Sueters has more than 36 years of experience in sales and business development. In his new role, Jos will focus on driving organic growth and developing business relationships with customers, distributor partners, and industry experts. Mr. Sueters’ passion and knowledge of the industry will be invaluable in meeting customer needs and helping to bring innovative Ultimate Bearing Experience (UBE) solutions to the marketplace.

Rita Payne is the Director of Marketing and Communications at NTN Canada with responsibility for marketing programs, brand management, and corporate communications. Rita has more than 25 years’ experience in global marketing and is an expert in analyzing marketing, developing product and brand strategies as well as executing commercial go-to-market plans. Rita has held various senior-level roles in marketing at Toshiba, Straumann, Schlumberger and William Osler Health System, with extensive experience in building and leading customer-centric marketing organizations in both the manufacturing and healthcare sectors. Rita holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario and an M.B.A. from York University.

Joe Kosichek, P.Eng., has developed varied skills over 30 years plus in the bearing industry, working in engineering, sales, marketing, planning and development. He has returned recently to his engineering roots to promote the new NTN TRIAGE process and the leading-edge technologies that are helping us deliver our renowned first-class technical support in 2022 and beyond.

David Machado is the IAM Sales Manager for NTN Canada’s Western Region. David has over 20 years of experience directing strategic partnerships with industrial channel partners and executing the successful delivery of NTN bearing solutions to meet customer needs.

Christian Borsella is an Applications Engineer with NTN Canada. His work is focused on delivering successful technical solutions and field engineering services to meet customer needs.

As NTN’s Regional Sales Manager for the Aftermarket Division in Ontario, Trevor Friesen has over 14 years of sales experience within the Power Transmission Industry. Trevor enjoys applying his product knowledge and in-depth sales strategies to exceed customer expectations. He is passionate about developing and maintaining strong relationships centered on trust with each of his customers.

Kelly Lusk works for NTN Canada as a Territory Sales Manager for Central and Southeastern Ontario. She has 20+ years of industrial aftermarket experience, and has worked for NTN Canada for over 7 years, across multiple roles from customer service to rebate development and corporate sales. Kelly Lusk is currently working on her PMP and is taking a French language course to acquire her bilingual certificate.

Darren Hughes is a Territory Manager at NTN Canada and covers a territory in British Columbia that includes the Vancouver lower mainland, Vancouver Island and North West BC. He has 34 years of experience in the bearings industry, with a vast knowledge base in bearing design and end-user applications.

Joseph Antony, PMP, works at NTN Canada as an Engineering Project Coordinator. He joined NTN in 2018 and has over 10 years of Project Management experience. He plays an active role in numerous NTN engineering projects and corporate initiatives. Additionally, he provides support and assistance to NTN’s Linear Motion business.

Mario Borsella, P.Eng., is a Mechanical Engineer with 25 years of experience developing technical solutions to problematic bearing applications at NTN. He has experience in many different market segments across Canada.

Jean-François Doucet, P.Eng., is a Mechanical Engineer with over 13 years of experience managing technical support for bearing applications, with a focus on the industrial aftermarket. He has a wealth of knowledge in the pulp and paper, sawmill and energy industries, with a proven track record of facilitating long term business relationships with both customers and industry contacts. Jean-François earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with honours from the Université de Sherbrooke.

Luc Bergeron has over 21 years of experience managing strategic partnerships with industrial channel partners, executing the successful delivery of bearing solutions to meet customer needs.

Giovanna has over 17 years of Territory Sales project management experience within the forestry and steel sectors, overlooking customer service and technical support with bearing applications.

Francois Pellerin, has over 35 years of experience overlooking tech support and customer care for the industrial aftermarket. Francois strives to go above and beyond to ensure client needs are met.

Stephane Chaboud has over 10 years of project management experience in complex industrial environments overlooking the deployment of added-value services and products.

Carly Tudball has 5 years of experience overlooking tech support and customer care for the industrial aftermarket.

Marcus Wickert, P.Eng., is a Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years of bearing experience. Marcus is the Director of Engineering for NTN Canada with a focus on bearing failure analysis, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, bearing training and education, bearings for Pulp & Paper, Metals, Forestry, Mining, and the Food & Beverage industries

Loren Almeida works for NTN Canada as a Customer Service Manager overlooking our customer care and requirements. Loren has worked for NTN Canada for 4 years. Loren Almeida is currently taking a French language course to acquire her bilingual certificate.

Shreyans Dedhiya, P.Eng., is a Service Engineer with NTN Canada. His work is focused on delivering successful technical solutions and field engineering services to customers in western Canada and Southern Ontario. Shreyans holds university degree in Mechanical Engineering and brings over 10 years of experience in the power transmission industry.

Daniel Guerin has over 20 years of experience overlooking tech support and customer care for the industrial aftermarket.

Pete Buller, P.Eng., is a Professional Engineer with over 28 years' experience in the bearing industry. During this time, he has held various roles and has experience in Sales, Engineering, and Technical Services. Based in Winnipeg, Pete is responsible for managing the sales territory of Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Northwestern Ontario.

Amjad Ramadan, P.Eng., works at NTN Canada’s head office as an Applications Engineer with more than a decade of successful experience as an industrial aftermarket specialist. Amjad has worked for NTN Canada for 13 years.

Chris Rempel, P.Eng., provides bearing related equipment design and maintenance expertise to many of Canada’s resource-based industries. He started with NTN in 2002 with a background in material handling equipment design. Focusing on Petroleum, Mining and the Pulp and Paper industry, Chris is very familiar with applications in extreme operating conditions.

Peter Vorvis, P.Eng., is a Mechanical Engineer with over 37 years of bearing experience, providing bearing related equipment design and maintenance expertise to the Canadian Machinery and Equipment Industry. Peter is the Training & Innovation Manager for NTN Canada focusing on delivering innovative knowledge transfer to our industry partners.

Mathew Meo has been with NTN since 2012 providing technical support services to a wide range of clients across many industries. He strives to provide a customer-centric solutions approach for any and all technical related issues.

James Hassan, P.Eng., has a mining‐mechanical engineering background with over 6 years of professional work experience in the bearings industry. His work has focused on developing technical solutions to problematic bearing applications within the Food Processing, Forestry, Aggregate, Mining and Steel market segments. His areas of expertise include the evaluation of root cause bearing failure analysis, applications review, cost‐effective methods for bearing lubrication, shaft and housing fits, and the development and application of bearing maintenance and installation training.

Michael Redenius is responsible for business development in southern Alberta and British Columbia. As a seasoned professional with 30 plus years of experience in the energy, forestry and agriculture industries in Canada and Europe, Michael is known for driving brand growth, maximizing operational excellence and delivering solutions.

James Foufas is a Territory Manager for NTN Canada in central and northern Alberta. James completed a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999 from the University of Alberta and subsequently spent 18+ years in territory management and technical sales

Sean Barron has over 27 years of experience directing strategic partnerships with industrial channel partners and executing the successful delivery of NTN bearing solutions to meet customer needs.

Ken Wells is the Director Sales, Industrial Aftermarket for NTN Canada, leading the UBE sales transformation initiative. Ken has been with NTN for 25 years and has led operations and sales management for the industrial aftermarket in Eastern and Central Canada. Ken holds an Executive MBA from the University of Fredericton and a BA in Economics from Western University.

Monica Melvin has over 19 years of experience managing strategic partnerships with industrial channel partners, executing the successful delivery of bearing solutions to meet customer needs.

Diana Ignagni joins NTN Canada as Western Regional Sales Manager (Industrial Aftermarket). Diana will oversee NTN’s industrial aftermarket sales teams with a focus on delivering NTN’s Ultimate Bearing Experience (UBE) vision to key industrial growth market segments across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, as well as helping to manage corporate account relationships across Canada. She holds a BA degree from York University. Her extensive experience and UBE strategic vision will be instrumental in enhancing our customer relationships.

With an impressive background boasting over 30 years of sales experience across various industries, Gianni has honed his skills in building strong client relationships and exceeding sales targets, demonstrating a relentless commitment to excellence.

We are thrilled to announce Michele Pellegrini as NTN’s new Territory Manager for the Canadian Industrial Aftermarket in Northeastern Ontario. As a General Manager and Business Developer in the hospitality industry for 20 years and Public Relations and Strategy Marketing Manager for three years, Michele developed exceptional skills in communication, organization, interpersonal relationships, and business development that will be vital in his new role as Territory Manager.

With over five years of experience in the power transmission and distribution industry, a degree in Manufacturing Engineering from McMaster University, and a Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma from Humber College, Shayan brings a proven track record of success and a deep understanding of the field to our team. His exceptional customer service skills, team leadership, and product knowledge are matched by his positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to deliver the Ultimate Bearing Experience.

Anthony Marcanio is a Mechanical Engineering Technician with more than ten years of experience in the industrial field. Anthony brings vast knowledge in the field of gearboxes, bearings and lubrication, and works hard to execute the successful delivery of bearing solutions to meet customer needs.

As a Sales Representative in the industrial aftermarket division, Antonio specializes in providing customized solutions to minimize downtime and optimize machinery performance in many different industries. With excellent communication skills and a commitment to honesty, he creates strong customer relationships by understanding needs and delivering transparent recommendations.

Bassirou Samb joined NTN in 2023 after working for 14 years in Alignment and 3D Metrology Services as an Account Manager covering pulp and paper, mining, plastics and aeronautic industries. His qualifications include a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. His mission is to develop value added propositions for customers to resolve their issues.

Sylvia Silveira has been with NTN for over 15 years, overlooking the development and implementation of timely, effective and innovative Human Resources standards, policies, procedures and programs to satisfy the requirements of a diversified and unionized environment including labour relations and occupational health & safety.

Harry Park, is an Electrical Engineering Technician with over 27 years of industry experience, providing linear motion related design, application and maintenance expertise to distribution channels in the Canadian Machinery and Equipment Industry. Harry is the Sales Manager for NTN Linear & Automation for NTN Canada focusing on linear motion products for the motion control and automation industries.

T.J. Tkachyk, has two years of experience overlooking tech support and customer care for the IAM, AAM & IOE groups. T.J. strives to go above and beyond to ensure client needs are met, handing inbound calls and e-mails for inquiries regarding stock and delays, providing quotations, returns, placing orders and providing order desk assistance with products.

Edison Salazar, has over 5 years of experience overlooking tech support and customer care for the industrial aftermarket, having advanced from the logistics department during his 20 year tenure with NTN. Edison strives to go above and beyond to ensure client needs are met.

As a member of our inside sales team, Alex enjoys being part of the front line for customer relations, fielding incoming phone calls, supporting customer inquiries and interchanging part numbers. For Alex, the most rewarding moments are fulfilling and exceeding customer expectations and being praised by the customer for doing so. To deliver the Ultimate Bearing Experience, Alex believes it is important to be flexible when serving customers, which means learning directly from the customer what needs changing or improving, how this can be best carried out and integrating these new ideas back into the customer experience process.
